U.S. presidential election tightens

What did I tell you! We have just seen the first debate, yet the circus has come to town plenty of times already. Apparently, for the last weeks it has been allowed to publicly claim that Joe Biden may have some cognitive problems. For anyone with the skills to look into things a bit deeper than what mainstream media would have told them, this has of course been public knowledge for a few years already. That's why it's so strange to see that the topic no longer is absolutely forbidden in public discussion.

Even though Joe Biden being on what some might call a journey to the outer space, you gotta admit, him tripping up between the names of Putin and Zelenskyy, and celebrating the independence day by imitating to be the Santa Claus is rather hilarious. Alas, have no fear, the focus of the news has shifted slightly, with his opponent almost getting assassinated in broad daylight.

The assassination attempt of Donald Trump is obviously big news, no doubt about that. It made me wonder of the motives behind the attack, and how this would affect the rest of the elections, and how might the other superpowers of the world react to this news. It even made me think about them having something to do with it. In fact, why could it not have been an inside job as well? *Gasp* A conspiracy?

But how have other people reacted? Well, let's see. So far, I've seen:

  • A radical feminist on a TikTok video screaming and ranting how she wished the shooter would have hit the target
  • Armchair generals making comments on how the close protection team should have acted
  • The – always oh so terrible – media swearing that the evil orange man will now destroy the world just to have revenge on... something?
  • Conservative people saying how the DEI policies have failed

All I can say is that apparently, after all, it is not me who is the craziest person on this planet. I suppose that is relieving.

At least I'm crazy enough to say that I just CANNOT WAIT for the next chapter of this race, because I am more than convinced that it too will be a complete blast.
